Frank Kuntz and his trailer full of feral Nokota pulled into our driveway late last night—each one unique and amazing. And with that, we can officially kick off our “Nokota November”!
Join us! We’ve planned a special evening honoring Leo Kuntz and his dream of sustainability for the Nokota horse. Meet Frank Kuntz, enjoy famous Birchrunville Cafe bites and desserts, harvest wines from The Finger Lakes, and a live exhibition with Michael Battenfield and 10-year-old Nokota mare, Iron Mouse.

The Preserve, Chester Springs sadly mourns the loss of our founding father, Mr. Leo Kuntz. Leo was an inspiration to many as a teacher, friend, beloved brother, and extraordinary horseman who dedicated his life to his Nokota horses.
You’re invited to “Breakfast with the Nokota Horses on Saturday, April 28th from 9-11am at The Nokota Preserve! This is a chance to visit the farm, learn the Nokota story, meet the horses, get some training insight and hear the latest news on the herd.
